b7 was created by Mike Werrell in 2023 to help businesses navigate the complex global payment landscape. With over 25 years experience in credit, debit and prepaid card issuing plus a background in merchant processing (accepting payments), we can provide your business with the tools to thrive.

Mike began his career at Capital One in a variety of technical and project management roles. He spent nearly 15 years at WEX, a global payments provider, where he led operational teams and served in a variety of business development positions across its corporate payments division. Mike was also an early employee at Marqeta where he was Director of Enterprise Business Development leading several strategic verticals including On-Demand Delivery, Disbursements, Reward & Incentives, Healthcare and Insurance payments.

In 2023, Mike founded b7 to return his focus to providing individual attention and expertise to a direct client base across AP Automation, launching new card programs, simplifying merchant processing and consulting across various specialties such as virtual credit card issuing.
