AP Automation

  • What does that even mean?

You’ve got bills to pay each month. Depending upon the size of your business you may be paying a dozen or hundreds of unique suppliers. How do you pay those vendors today? Do you send ACH, wires, checks, or pay by credit/debit card? You likely utlize some type of accounting software to manage your invoices and accounts payable. AP Automation simply means taking your monthly AP file, full of vendors, amounts to pay and due dates, and uploading that file to us so that we can execute the payments for you.

  • Why would I want b7 to manage my AP?

We get it—you’ve already got a process for handling your accounts payable. But if that process includes writing checks then we need to get you into the 21st century. And if you’re sending ACHs or Wires then you’re likely over spending on payouts. b7 can take a look at your monthly payment file and advise which payment method would be best. In some, but certainly not all, cases it might be paying with a credit card and that will deliver cash back to your business. Better payment terms, better cash flow and better cash back. That’s why you should use b7’s Accounts Payable Automation.

  • So what does it cost and how do I get started?

Here’s the good news: We’ll be paying you each month to pay the bills you’d be paying anyway. There are small fees per ACH, check or wire but many of your vendors will be paid via a negotiated rate virtual credit card and that will deliver cash back to your business.

To get started just schedule a call with us to learn more. We’ll outline how the program works in more detail and, if you’re interested in proceeding, then we’ll ask for a recent vendor payment file. We’ll take that file and analyze it, bringing you back a report that outlines the savings and cash back we are forecasting for your business. At that point you can decide to move forward or not.
